Will the extender fit my car?
It fits most sedans, crossovers, mid-size SUVs and pickup trucks with a rear bench seat. Check our Fit Guide, or email us a photo of your back seat and we'll confirm before you order.
How big a dog can use it?
It is built for medium and large dogs who need room to lie down. We don't publish a weight rating because we only state numbers we have tested ourselves.
Is it a safety restraint?
No. It is not a crash-tested restraint. For travel, use a car-safety harness attached to a tether or seat belt. Never attach a tether to a collar.
How long does it take to install?
About a minute once you've done it once. No tools needed.
How do I clean it?
Shake off hair and dirt, then wipe the surface with a damp cloth. For a deeper clean, remove the boards and hand wash the cover in cold water, then let it air dry.
Will my dog's claws damage it?
The Oxford fabric resists everyday scratching, but no fabric is chew-proof. Please don't leave your dog unsupervised with it.
Does it work with heated seats or side airbags?
Turn heated seats off while it is installed. If your rear seats have side airbags, check your vehicle manual before using any seat cover.
When will my order arrive?
Every product page shows its own delivery estimate and Christmas order-by date. As a guide: personalized gifts are made to order in the US and arrive in about 4–12 business days; US-warehouse items in about 4–11 business days; items from our partner warehouse in China in about 8–17 days to the US and 8–18 days to Canada. The engraved leather collar set takes about 17–25 days. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
Where do you ship?
We ship to the 48 contiguous US states, Washington, DC, and Canada. Shipping is free on every order. In Canada we offer the items that ship from our partner warehouse in China; these parcels may be charged import taxes (GST/HST) and a carrier handling fee on delivery.
